Dispatching a bulldozer to the existing structure then starting a new construction from scratch isn’t always the right way to create the perfect retreat.  Whether you prefer to call it “renovation” or “remodeling”, we have significant experience in transforming existing structures into beautiful, modern living space.   

Contrary to common belief, renovating an existing home is usually a more complicated procedure than a new construction.    A properly designed and executed renovation project involves blending the new desired elements with the existing structure so that it’s difficult (or impossible) to discern the old from the new.  The goals for renovation can be broad, but most often involve making a home larger, updating an interior or exterior, or adding new, or larger windows.  After discussing your objectives, we’ll first evaluate the existing home by examining its structural and mechanical condition.  This will allow us to understand what changes can realistically be made to accept the new elements, and also provides an understanding to the associated costs.  With that work done, we’ll be able to design the new elements to be complementary to what previously exists.
